I’m getting jaded with the culture of the industry, or rather the company. It’s not even about creating anymore, the self-indulgence is suffocating and just disgusting.
I just had the epiphany that it is VERY important to choose a company based on its culture and ways of doing things and whether it matches your own standards and ways of doing things. I know, shoot me for discovering this too late. I thought I could sit on it and pretend that it was okay, but the resentment is growing unknowingly.
It’ll soon be time for me to start looking for another place, another space where I can grow to be a better person, not worse.
Also, can people get any STUPIDER! Covering ass does not help the person to learn, but shit rolls downhill, then it becomes a catch-22.
Ugh.
Frustrations that I have to keep reminding myself are not worth it. I need a duck pizza and drink fix pronto.
